Paradox in a Locked Door is my heart-felt tribute to the end of mutual exclusivity in our world: No more "this or that"; and no more "in or out". We are very much, indeed, an integral  part of Nature - Earth. That being said, Nature - Earth is very much an integral part of us; not only in all its beauty, but, even more-so, in all its powerfully dynamic and forceful impact on our fragile lives. As I look out my window (in other words, from my perspective), I can see that humanity's attempts to build walls around us ( known as the fortress mentality) can be, and most likely will be, an exercise in extreme futility. In our reality, we will always encounter the bad with the good; the harsh with the calm; and devastation followed by the re-build. In my view, these realities will intensely encounter us - be they in stormy times that "destroy well-built fences", "smash our flower pots and windows", and "crash open wasp nests". It is this vibrant and historically turbulent reality that actually defines us, makes us, and fiercely creates our complex yet very colourful reality. When we create actual countries, we must not focus on their picture frame ( their borders), but, like a painting, we must focus on their vibrant and expanding content that invites us to nurture a brightly growing healthy garden in all its diversity.
