This oil painting is a portrait of my dear daughter, Maya Elizabeth Klassen. I completed the painting in October 2022 as a celebration of her, and have designated it to belong to our Family Heritage. Not only as an artist, but also especially as a father, I have tried to delicately furbish into her smile and into the glint of her eyes, the loving poise and dignity that represents her, and to diligently strive to make manifest the essence of her pearl, that which she has had since the day she was born.
